Onapolima 2026 Celebrates Kerala’s Cultural Heritage
Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, Eroor, celebrated Onam with great enthusiasm through Onapolima 2026, bringing together students, teachers and parents in a vibrant display of Kerala’s cultural heritage.
The celebrations featured traditional art forms including Ethirelppu, Pulikali, Thumbithullal, Vanchippattu, Kaikottikali, Thiruvathira, Onappattu and Onachuvad, presented by students of the primary and secondary sections. The festivities also included Vamanan and Maveli, followed by payasam distribution and Vadamvali.
The PTA-organised afternoon programme featured Onappattu, Thiruvathira and an energetic Tug of War between parents and teachers. A grand Onasadya added to the festive spirit, making Onapolima 2026 a memorable celebration of tradition, togetherness and the vibrant spirit of Onam.
