Guru Purnima Celebration
With the objective of instilling reverence for teachers and fostering Indian cultural values among students, Guru Purnima was observed with great devotion in the school.As part of the morning assembly, Shri Sreenandan Haridas addressed the students, highlighting the significance of Guru Purnima. He spoke about the invaluable contributions of Maharshi Vyasa and emphasised the greatness of the sacred Guru–Shishya (teacher–disciple) tradition. The students presented a Guru Vandana song, and a Guru Dakshina ceremony, was conducted to honour and remember the role of teachers.
As a mark of gratitude and respect, the students offered flowers to their teachers and expressed their heartfelt reverence through Guru Vandana.
The celebration, held in a serene and devotional atmosphere, helped nurture respect for teachers and reinforced the importance of Indian cultural values among the students.
Guru Purnima Celebration at Balamandir
The Kindergarten section celebrated Guru Purnima with devotion and reverence. The children expressed their respect and gratitude towards their teachers by offering Dakshina as a mark of honour to their gurus.
On the occasion, the children were introduced to the significance of Guru Purnima and learned that the auspicious day is observed in honour of the great sage Veda Vyasa, the revered author of the Mahabharata. The celebration helped instill in the young minds the values of gratitude, respect, and reverence for teachers.
