SVAPASYA BMUN 2023
BMUN 2023 elucidated UN principles and operations. Hon. Chief Justice Shri Devan Ramachandran, High Court of Kerala, was the Chief Guest.
The inaugural ceremony commenced at 9 am with a prayer rendered by the school choir. The programme started with the curtain raiser highlighting the history of Svapasya over the years. Mithra Gopalakrishnan, student representative, welcomed the gathering. C A Venugopal C Govind, Chairman, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Kochi Kendra delivered the presidential address. He appreciated the students of Std XI for organising the event meticulously. Hon. Justice Devan Ramachandran, High Court of Kerala, delivered an incredibly impactful address that left a lasting impression on the delegates. He motivated the delegates to excel in their field by understanding their core strengths as well as identify and address the weaknesses. Smt. Pinky Ramesh, PTA President offered the felicitation. Kum. Prisha Nair, Secretary General declared the BMUN 2023 Open. Principal Smt Parvathy E, Vice Principal Smt Indrani Haridasan and Asst. Vice Principal Smt Jijitha VG graced the occasion with their presence.
The valedictory function started at 5 pm. Sri G Gopinathan, Vice Chairman, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Kochi Kendra, was the guest of honour. Gregorian Public School, Maradu bagged the Best Delegation Award. Abhijith Krishna A of Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir,Girinagar, Adwika Asghar of Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, Girinagar and Hrishikesh Rahul of Gregorian Public School,Maradu secured the Best Delegate awards.
