Navaratri Celebration
The Navarathri celebration of Bhavan's Vidya Mandir, Eroor was held at Sardar Patel Sabha Griha, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Kochi on October 19, 2023. The programme commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Sri E Ramankutty, Director, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Kochi Kendra, Prof. Ambat Vijayakumar, Committee Member, Kochi Kendra, Sri P M Venkataraman, Chief Finance Manager, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Kochi Kendra, Smt Sunitha S, Academic Coordinator, Sri Rajmohan Varma, Coordinator, Bhavan’s Kalabharati, Smt Parvathy E, Principal, Smt Indrani Haridasan, Vice Principal and Smt Jijitha VG, Assistant Vice Principal, Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, Eroor. 'RAGAMALIKA' the musical recital, marked the beginning of the event, as a deep and spiritual aura pervaded the auditorium. It was followed by a dance drama ' AMBASTHUTHI' which revolved around distinctive forms of Durga, each symbolising the embodiment of Shakthi. The dancers' expressions and movements conveyed the essence of each form beautifully, adding depth and meaning to the performance. The Navarathri programme was instrumental in enriching and preserving our cultural heritage.
